This qualification is used as an introduction to chemical process operations. Qualifying learners will understand the various process operations that are used in chemical operations and understand elementary chemistry and its application in industry. Apply safety, health, and environmental issues in the workplace. Typical learners are operating personnel working in a chemical processing plant.
Chemical Operations NQF 2

Qualifying learners will understand the various process operations that are used in chemical or explosives operations, understand the principles of chemistry and the applications in industry. Monitor and control operations in a chemical or process environment. Maintain quality in a processing environment. This knowledge and expertise can form a basis for further learning particularly in the production or operations.
Chemical Operations NQF 3
SAQA 66209
Qualifying learners will understand various process operations that are used in chemical operations. Understand and apply the basic principles of liquid, gas and solid storage and transfer to equipment in chemical process operations. Competence in chemical process operations requires appropriate general, chemical specific technical & other knowledge and its application; as well as expertise in operating production equipment and controlling a chemical process.

Water Services NQF1
SAQA 48495
Qualifying learner will have a firm foundation of knowledge of key issues and practices in the water sector, and entry skills and knowledge relating to water services. This includes water treatment, water reticulation, wastewater reticulation, wastewater treatment, community water and sanitation. Learners with this Qualification will also gain an introductory knowledge of the water sector, enabling them to understand the nature of water issues in South Africa.
Water reticulation services NQF 2
SAQA 23475
Qualification provides knowledge and skills in water services as team leader attending to the construction and operations of a water reticulation system. Apply health and safety legislation in the workplace, plan work tasks, read and interpret maps and drawings, identify pipes, associated fittings, valves, and meters in a water reticulation system and maintain, install, and operate a water reticulation system.
Water and wastewater treatment process operation NQF 2
SAQA 58951
This qualification provides workplace-based needs of water and wastewater process operators. Competency in applying fundamental knowledge and understanding of current legislation specific to water and wastewater treatment and Operating processes at a water and wastewater treatment works. This qualification will provide learners with a basic knowledge and understanding of the water and wastewater treatment works.
Water and wastewater reticulation NQF 3

Water and wastewater process control NQF 3

Prepare learners to function independently on water or wastewater treatment works. Water and Wastewater Treatment Process Control Supervision NQF 4

A learner assessed against this qualification will have the necessary competence to manage working teams, performing the agricultural processes in a range of Animal Production taking responsibility for the quality and quantity of outputs.
